AIR POLLUTION IN LUGANSK REGION |

Air pollution, including products of waste heap burning, causes a heavy damage to the environment. By atmospheric emission sizes of pollutants, Lugansk region has a third place after the Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
Growth over the past five years the sizes of pollutant emissions largely caused by increasing sizes of the main industrial products, the restoration of work of many objects in conditions of deterioration of the main fund, imperfections in manufacturing processes, inadequate providing by treatment facilities for capture pollutants. Level of air pollution by notion of air pollution index (API) in the table 1.
