PERSPECTIVE OF METALLURGICAL SLAG SELECTIVE DISINTEGRATION IN PROCESS RECYCLING

Anthropogenic metal-containing raw material involving in treatment is one in perspective direction mineral resources of industry development. There are 800 million tons slags in slag-heaps in Russia. Every year 95 million tons of slag are formed by nonferrous-metals and iron industry of Russia, it being mass part valuable components in slags comparable or exceed this indicator for ore. For many metallurgical industries the question about present slags and slags dump recycling is one in a important in the last years.

Complication of slags deep recycling is dealt with understudied physical-mechanical properties, mineral composition and complicated structure of slags. It happens because they have specific production conditions. The important not only individual behavior of slags, but combination behaviors as well. For competitiveness increasing of mining industries is reasonability technology treatment of slags development in a perspective selective disintegration.

The intensification of decomposition, in our opinion, can be provided by devices on a principle of free kick. At such influence on a material:

Necessity of perfection the processes of ore pretreatment is dictated by involving in processing of new raw materials characterized by thin dispersion of valuable components and complex structure. One of the primary goals of their treatment to enrichment is maintenance of the maximum degree of selective decomposition, clearing of valuable components from minerals of burden. Modern directions of development the processes of crushing-degradation are subordinated to this basic purpose. However, nonmetering physic-chemical properties and morphometric properties of slag structure peculiarities, selective destructs its impossible, that is complex treatment conditions.

All-round studying of slags of rough-edged copper melt by complex of mineralogical-analytical methods of research has allowed to establish assessment criterion of selective decomposition, mechanism of selective decomposition slags by vapart-impact crushers specify and functional dependence operation factors crusher and physic mechanical properties slags.

Use of vapart-impact devices in third stage of crushing cooper slags has allowed to increase cooper extraction in a flotation concentrate from 85% up to 96,27% and to increase a fraction of total cooper mass in a cooper concentrate from 24,0 up to 27,0%.

Use of vapart-impact devices make it possible the basic environmental problems in modern metallurgical manufacture determine. Results of selective decomposition of metallurgical slags researches by vapart-impact devices are confirmed by the experience of using more than 90 devices in Russia and broad.
