WAYS TO IMPROVE PROPHYLACTICS AGAINST XENOBIOTIC INTOXICATION. ALIMENTARY CORRECTION MEASURES |
| National Center of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases HCM RK, Karaganda city, Kazakhstan |
The industrial development in Kazakhstan in spite of mechanization and hygienic and prophylactic measures produces negative effects on workers health. The issues of preserving and improving the health of working population are the most important tasks for the labour medicine and hygiene.
Lately one of the perspective developments in medicine has been prophylactics against xenobiotics influence with the use of specialized products. It should be paid particular attention to. Due to in-take of specialized nutrition at harmful productions, it is possible to decrease the toxic effect of xenobiotics. In spite of the varied industrial hazards and numerous factors which affecting the bodies resulting in diseases, the basic principals of alimentary correction must be identical.
The number of specialized products was elaborated by the employees of the toxicological laboratory at the National center of occupational hygiene and occupational diseases HCM KR. Also its approbations were conducted in experimental conditions under various xenobiotics exposures. The specialized products recipes are complexes of natural components of vegetation and animal origins. The complex approach was used to improve the efficiency of alimentary correction.
The basic principal of alimentary correction (against action of xenobiotics) is enterosorbition due to transformation of bile and improvement of peristaltic. This promotes xenobiotics transformation; antioxidant protection, inhibiting the free radicals formation and preventing the negative influence of the lipoperoxidation; it strengthens cell membranes; the protein synthesis is stimulated, therefore the body resistance is improved.
We used wheat bran, camelina sativa, corn stigmas. They carry out one of the most essential points of the organism detoxication. It is the bile transformations and peristaltic stimulation with the aim of improving xenobiotics transformations from organism.
To increase the antioxidant protection it is possible to use food components (rutin, tocopherol, vitamin A and etc.) or vegetational raw materials, which are their sources.
Cell membranes’ strengthening is ensured by a phospholipid component, which prevents destructive processes in cell membranes and accelerate the crossing speed between membranes. It also is accomplished by adding the components of stabilizing membrane. They are carotene and cholesterol.
It is advisable to add unchangeable amino acids, such as lysine to the diet because lysine is initial substance for carnitine synthesis, which is the factor of transforming the oil acids to mitochondrion.
However in the process of working out these specialized products against a particular industrial xenobiotic, it is necessary to use additional principals of correction, making the prophylactic effect to the specific attributes of this particular xenobiotic. So for example, under exposure to dust ingredients with antifibriose effect should be added, against H2S factor – the numerous organic acids, which promote the speed of oxidation suppressing a cancer cycle, whereas most serious intoxication is caused by the acetone and geksane.
Thus, the prophylactic use of the specialized nutrition against the effects of industrial xenobiotics is a perspective direction. The specialized products can assist in preventing development of occupational diseases.
