THE WAYS OF REDUCING NEGATIVE IMPACT OF POWER OBJECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT IN WESTERN SIBERIA |
| Tumen State oil-and-gas University, Tumen, Russia |
The peculiarity of the above mentioned region is a relatively long winter with low temperatures up to 40-50 centigrade below zero and a high level of snowfall. This results in increased energy consumption of the region especially in winter. The region produces and is fully provided with the own energy and also produces enormous amount of heat and electric power. There are a number of powerful thermal power plants in the region.
E.g. the thermal power station located in Surgut is one of the largest in the world.
Our report shows that the existing technology of energy production has a number of disadvantages accounting for an output of steam into the atmosphere and high temperature water – into water objects.
The ways of rational use of heating power of water are proposed, which enables to cool down the melting equipment for snow cleared out from the city territories as a source of boiling water. Kinetic energy of the indicated flow is also used to produce additional amount of electricity.
The mode of steam sedimentation in the cooler is employed by using standing ultrasound waves emerging in the resonators due to the noise of falling water flows.
The data of the research findings are discussed in order to work out mobile equipment designed for snow masses transformation into melting water.
The possibilities for energy consumption saving in Tumen educational sector are also considered.
The potential favorable influence is reviewed due to the above mentioned activities on preserving climate in the region alongside with the quality of air, water and soil in the region
