MORPHOLOGY OF LIVER LYMPH NODES UNDER CHRONIC POISONING BY CADMIUM CHLORIDE AND ITS CORRECTION BY TAGAN-SORBENT
Kazakh National Medical University, Almaty, Kazakhstan

Structural disturbance in the liver regional lymphatic knots was investigated during chronic poisoning of rats by cadmium chloride and corrected by Tagan-sorbent. Investigation of changes in the lymphatic knots took place on the 1, 7, 21 days after the poisoning. Chronic intoxication by cadmium chloride caused edema development in the liver lymphatic knots characterized by capsule thickening and increase of their packed density from 8,37% to 9,03% and 10,75% on the 1st and 7th days after poisoning. On the 21st day capsule area remained on 12, 48% level. Due to correction by Tagan-sorbent it reduced to 9,24%. Capacity of regional sinus remained really increased during the whole time of investigation: from 5, 42% to 7, 24%, 7, 98% and 7, 10% on the 1st, 7th and 21st day accordingly. Cerebral sinus area increased rapidly reaching 20, 35% on the 1st day after the experiment when reference quantity was 15, 36%. Later on decreasing of cerebral sinuses area occurred: to 12, 14% on the 7th day, to 12, 29% on the 21st day. The use of Tagan-sorbent increased that value of test data on the 21st day. That dynamics of packed density changes of sinuses characterizes the functional disorders of the lymphatic knot during chronic cadmium intoxication in the form reinforcement of its drainage function at the initial term after exotoxication. Further, due to edema development of knot parenchyma and knot sinuses opening contraction, especially of cerebral ones, the deposit function of knots was increasing; drainage function decreased and leaky through the knot lymph tightly contacted with knot’s parenchyma.

Cortical substance area in one day after finishing of intoxication decreased a little, but later it increased greatly reaching 43,32% on the 7th day, 44,13% on the 21st day under check sample 36,83%. During the correction by Tagan-sorbent it was 39,44% on the 21st day, what was significantly lower. The area of paracortical zone was also rising on the 7 and 21 days to 13,17% and 17,05% correspondingly with check sample 10,69%. Under correction by Tagan-sorbent it was 12,78% and 15,38% on indicated dates. Growth of packed density of stated structures proved the presence of considerable structure-functional disturbs of liver knot in the form of parenchyma edema and reduction of drainage function. As the result, a close contact of lymph with knot parenchyma happened. Hyperplasia of paracortical zone may be explained by a strong migration of small lymphocyte to organ parenchyma from blood flow as an answer to antigen influence. The area of cerebral substance decreased to 23, 42% on the 7th day under reference quantity 36, 83%. The area of secondary lymphoid follicle was increasing progressively and reliably from 11, 42% to 19, 23%, and 23, 55% on the 7th and 21st day appropriately. During the correction by Tagan-sorbent on the 21st day that extent was substantially lower – 15, 46%. Growth of the part of secondary lymphoid follicles indicates the reactive processes, which take place in the cortical substance. In the initial and second lymphoid knots there had been reduced number of middle sized lymphocytes and extend of plasma cells, cells of Mott. The number of macrophages and restored cells grew, that evidences about the protective quality of the organism. The number of neutrophiles and tissue basophils increased. This can be explained by the participation of the cells in the local regulation of tissue homeostasis. Tagan-sorbent affected the lymphatic knots protectively, reduced the disturbance. The changes in the cell structure of different zones of the liver lymphatic knot during exotoxicosis on the background of Tagan-sorbent had a restoring character.

Thus, chronic intoxication by cadmium chloride in the liver lymphatic knots of rats led to the significant structural functional disorders, which provide a closer contacting through lymphatic knot with parenchyma knot. The result of this there are conditions for the exchanging processes among lymph and cell elements of the knot. Tagan-sorbent decreases xenobiotic influence, improving microcirculation and reducing the damaging effect of cadmium chloride upon liver regional lymph nodes, strengthens their drainage function
